Heidelberg Project

I met Tyree Guyton of The Heidelberg Project while visiting Detroit this weekend for Detroit Electronic and Music Festival. Guyton took 2 city blocks of deserted  houses and lots and turned them into an art installations. http://www.heidelberg.org/

Besides loving Detroit, he's dedicated to the project and rebuilt it a couple times after the city demolished it.

The Mistake

prehistoric American wild west, pterodactyls, rainbows, and giant spiders turn into video game digital wild west of 7-11 proportions, iguanas and ufos in "The Mistake".  romantic, the way French people get about the American wild west.
